Finally arrived in lovely Budapest this past Saturday. The weather is great, work seems like it will be just fine, and our tiny apartment is at least livable. What more can I ask for, except perhaps for all my household goods to arrive so I can relax and get back into writing?

Wow-what a view! Good luck with your writing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of the city. So glad you're in your new digs and getting settled. Hopefully you are taco'd out from your visit home. :D
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. We missed you... :D
ReplyDeleteOdysseus returns to Ithaca...
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!! at last! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a safe trip home. Welcome back, Ted.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! L.G., oddly enough we ate at Taco Bell only three times over the summer. I did have some other Mexican food at real restaurants, and I made some wonderful tostadas myself (which I hadn't been able to do in years due to lack of proper ingredients).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic! I love the lit up building in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Ted.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you back (almost), Ted!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Glad to see you again. Will be looking forward to your next post.. :)...no pressure.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're at your new home! And looks like you'll have a lot of exploring to do.
ReplyDeleteAh, welcome back. I wondered where you'd got to.

ReplyDeleteTed-you're so lucky to be there! It's absolutely gorgeous! I will start buying lottery tickets so I can get there while you can play tour guide, eh?
ReplyDeleteHello Ted:
ReplyDeleteWe have, quite by chance, happened upon your most interesting and varied blog, made additionally so to learn that you are in Budapest, a city in which we live for the greater part of our time with, on occasion, a foray back to the UK where we also have a home.
And whilst our own blog is, we trust, wide reaching much of it is, of course, centred upon this truly magical city. Welcome back although, we fear, the weather has become much cooler and wetter of late. What has happened to summer, we wonder?
Jane and Lance, it is good to see you here. I'd like to add myself as a follower of your blog (you have so many more than I do!), but at work JavaScript isn't working and I don't yet have my home computer. *Sigh*
