A Quick One While She's Away

Just a couple of quick notes, first that the awesome Matt Rush has kindly posted my current query for all of you to critique. Second, tomorrow I will be posting another excerpt from my book for the Weather blogfest. Hope you'll read and let me know what you think, good and bad.

    eeks! super excited to read another excerpt! the image of the red moon face cannibal guy keeps creeping up on me when i least expect it! so. completely. awesome.

    Victoria, I hope it doesn't disappoint. These two scenes are quiet ones, centered around character rather than action.
