Angry Songs

What music do you listen to when you are in a foul mood? I've been upset at myself all week for making a big mistake that made me look foolish (the Die Hard incident, for those who have read the posts), so I've been listening to a lot of these two songs that I tend to play when I am angry. Warning, don't listen to them if you are overly sensitive! They are awesome songs, but they are also pretty explicit. I crank them way up, especially the incredible finish to the first one when it just gets brutal.

Okay, and if you need to calm down after that, here is a gorgeous song...

  1. Tool is a good band for anger. I just go straight for the Pantera or In Flames.

  2. Let this mashup wipe the slate clean. Cheer up.

  3. Hope your music makes you feel better. The music I have on my ipod keeps me upbeat when I'm working out.

  4. I'm embarrassed to say that I sometimes listen to Dirty Pretty Things when I'm angry. My adult daughter left that on the family computer and I just started listening one day. It makes for good high-energy housecleaning music too.

  5. And you have a big red circle on your cubbie partition that says "bang head here" right? LOL.

When I'm upset I listen to the most inappropriate things. I live my feelings through someone else's angst, and feel so much better for it :)

I hope your weeks picks up Ted.

  6. Excellent choice in Tool :) I usually go for something like Amon Amarth; nothing like a big of Viking death metal to vent your rage.

  7. I don't care what I listen to as long as its loud.

  8. You are so emo, Ted. These would be much more effective if you'd covered them yourself, ala Risky Business, in your underwear, flexing those abs, and singing like Tom Cruise.
